The holidays aren’t just time for presents; it’s when friends and family come to stay, and you’re finally able to settle down, taking a much-needed break. After all the Christmas chaos, of course.
Here at Nina’s, we know how hard it can be to stay on top of having all your linens washed and ready for the holidays. So we’ve put together some tips to help you stay on top of your Christmas laundry this holiday season.
When to do your Christmas laundry
The earlier you can get to Nina’s within December, the better. Like everywhere at this time of the year, we get busy too, so pop into your local laundromat within the first few weeks of December, and you’ll leave with the cleanest clothes you’ve ever seen.

Set a date
If you’re feeling a little overwhelmed at this time of year, which, let’s face it, most of us are. Set a date to wash your linens at Nina’s. It’s one more thing you can take off your mind in the silly season.
Start with your guest bedding
Guest bedding doesn’t have to be those sheets scrunched up in the back of your linen cupboard. If you’ve got family or friends coming to stay, bring those sheets to Nina’s for an all-essential freshen-up.
Wash all your laundry as soon as you get back from holidays
We know there are two types of people after a holiday or that camping adventure: those who unpack three weeks later and those who head down to Nina’s straight away.
After your short getaway, unpack and come to Nina’s with all your laundry. With all of our large washing machines, you can get all your laundry done within one go. It’s one more thing checked off that to-do list.
Make a day out of it
What Nina means here is it’s a busy time of year. So make a day of doing your laundry with a laundromat near you, but why not pick up some presents when you are out too? If you are planning to do this, make sure to set a timer.

Add it to your regular washing schedule
If you don’t feel like setting a date, but you come to Nina’s often, bring your linens and wash them separately. That way, it won’t feel like an extra chore. Then, you can do it all when you head down to Nina’s.
