Nina’s laundrette is near many shops in the gorgeous suburb of Northcote. Of course, while there are plenty of attractions, don’t get too lost. 1. Grab a coffee in between washing cycles
Coffee. Of course, this has to be number one. Every Melbournian practically lives of it. Nina’s Laundrette is located at 267 St Georges road, with many coffee shops tucked in all the nooks and crannies. But of course, we have a favourite. I mean, how could you not? Nina’s favourite is the Sherwood North Cafe. Delicious coffee, lovely people, what more could you want?
2. Take a stroll through Batman Park
Location, location, location. Nina’s is right in the thick of it. The stunning Batman Park is only a 7-minute walk away. So why not pack up a picnic lunch, chuck a load on, and take a wonderful stroll through Batman Park? You won’t even feel like you’re doing your laundry.
3. Do a small grocery shop
We love Northcote. Not only is it full of cute coffee shops, but it’s also home to the conveniences of supermarkets. So if you’re waiting for your laundry, you might as well go pick up those milk and eggs you’ve been meaning to go out and get all week.
4. Netflix and Laundry, duh
What if you don’t feel like leaving Nina’s and want to sit while your socks go around and go, or maybe you are too tired to do anything but that? If you’ve got Netflix, we recommend downloading some shows. That way, you don’t have to use data while waiting for your load. But if you happen to forget to download your favourite show, don’t stress. Nina’s got you covered with free WiFi.
5. Catch up on some work or study at our Laundromat
